I don’t want to spoil anything, but the “RavenHood” was introduced near the end of this book and what it symbolizes is much more interesting than I expected. It was way more than I was expecting, but then again, I went into this book knowing the bare minimum, and I think doing that made me enjoy the book even more. Something that needs to be prefaced is that there was a lot, and I mean A LOT of smut in this book. As Cecelia and Sean begin to grow closer, we get to know his character very well and I love how he’s a bad boy with an adventurous free spirit – I feel like you don’t see that too often in romance male characters. Meanwhile, she takes basically the opposite to Dominic he’s rude to her for a good portion of this book. When she meets Sean and his closest friends Dominic and Tyler, she immediately feels welcome and takes a liking to Sean. She wants to believe in happily ever after but has been hurt by men in the past, more specifically her father. Our main female character, Cecelia, age 19, was definitely a realistic and complex character, similar to most women her age.
